Doctor Frank Trepsat was trained in France (Former Gold Medal Resident of Lyon's Hospitals, former Chief Resident, Assistant Professor), in Paris and in the United States, where he was a "Clinical Fellow" at Harvard University. He is qualified in Reconstructive Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. He was for many years a founding member of the French Society for Plastic Surgery (SOFCEP), which gathers together plastic surgeons performing essentially aesthetic surgery. He also is Professor at the International Society for Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) (ISAPS), based in the United States. In Switzerland he holds a specialist post grad certification and is a member of the FMH, and is member of the Société Suisse de Chirurgie Plastique, Reconstructive et Esthétique. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in peer reviewed journals, of the French Reconstructive Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery report on 'New liftings' and regularly presents his work at international conferences. His presence if often requested to perform demonstrations abroad. To this extent Doctor Trepsat has been a correspondent member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and international active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Doctor Trepsat does not delegate and performs personally all surgical procedures. The surgeon has to be respectful of ethics and should not advertise in the lay press. The best proof for surgical qualities is the fact that he operates other plastic surgeons or their relatives. Hinting of having operated on celebrities is not a proof of professionalism.
